The International Trademark Association celebrated its 141° Annual Congress edition

From Mayo 18th to 22 , the north American city of Boston hosted the traditional 141° congress that each year is organized by the International Trademark Association: INTA, event which with the pass of time has gained great relevance in the field of Intellectual Property. Proof of it are the 11,000 professionals that attended the congress, according to the information gathered by the organizing committee, which turns into a historic record for the association.
Given the expectation created, the organizing committee designed a 5-day program which combined academic activities, represented by conferences and plenary sessions where participants could update their knowledge aligned with the new world tendencies in intellectual property matter, especially in trademark.
The social aspect was also considered, which constitutes the first step to enter into a future business relationship, proof of this were the days of receptions and cocktails offered by the organizing committee and also from many local and international firms interested in entertaining their colleagues and clients.
Finally, the commercial issue was also present. Much of the success of the event depends on the contribution of INTA sponsors. They had an area where they exhibited the benefits and operation of their products or services, which provided an added value to the professional work of those who acquired it.
Dr. Oscar Mago attended the event representing the Peruvian law firm OMC Abogados & Consultores.
