New Horizons for Trademarks in Europe: ECTA 2019

Del 26 al 29 de Junio y bajo el título de «New horizons through the highland haze» se realizó la 38° edición de la Conferencia anual ECTA 2019, en la ciudad escocesa de Edimburgo.

The congress organized by the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA) is not an event exclusively reserved for European professionals, quite on the contrary, over the past few editions it has become into a meeting and camaraderie space, ideal for strengthening professional collaborations with colleagues from countries in Latin America, Asia, United States and Australia.

It must be mentioned that the earlier mentioned intellectual property agents did not miss their opportunity to increase their knowledge in the latest norms and regulations issued by the EUIPO or the new trends and situations that Intellectual Property must face within the European Union. Some of the most outstanding sessions were the following: "Constructing evidence based on disclosure on the Internet", "New IT tools and useful statistics" and "Latest IP News and Trends".
