Ecuador's Trade Mission met with specialists of OMC Abogados & Consultores

Facing the growing expectation on behalf of the Ecuadorian Corporations to invest in Peru, the Ecuadorian and Peruvian Chamber of Commerce and Integration CAMEPE: decided to organize a visit to the city of Lima in order that the participants can learn about the Peruvian market and make contact with potential allies.

Also, an important aspect for entrepreneurs was to meet the legal and tax framework under which to conduct their business operations; to that end, Ms. Maria Belen León, executive director of the Chamber, invited the Peruvian firm OMC Abogados & Consultores to participate in the business meeting.

At the request of the members of the Trade Mission, the meeting focused on specific issues such as double taxation, the tax income, tax regimes and the formation of partnerships with foreign capitals in Peru.

Mr. Fernando Santivañez, specialist in Tax Law, together with Mr. Luis Maura, a specialist in Corporate Law, were in charge of the representation of the Peruvian company.
