COVID 19: Workers must compensate hours of work

In accordance with the provisions of the Emergency Decree No. 029-2020, all those who work in the public sector and are not doing remote work or are included in the category of essential services during the period of social isolation, must compensate the hours of absence from work once the state of emergency is lifted, as they are currently in the condition of "leave with enjoyment".
The rule also indicates that the same procedure may be applied in the private sector, if an agreement between the employer and the worker is not reached.
Likewise, it has been established that employers in both sectors are empowered to modify and establish shifts and staggered hours to benefit the provision of the service, without this representing a cut in the mandatory weekly rest.
