XX Congress of ASIPI: Recognizing the value of Intellectual Property in the company

From November 25 to 28, the Windsor Oceanic Hotel of Barra de Tijuca opened its doors to welcome approximately seven hundred agents and lawyers specializing in Intellectual Property who gathered in the city of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, to participate of the traditional annual congress organized by the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property: ASIPI.

The current interaction that has been brewing between business development and Intellectual Property has achieved that this last one be considered as one of the most valuable assets of a company, which was reflected in the titles presented throughout the conference:

“Strategic Allies: Entrepreneurship And Intellectual Property”, “The soccer business: Lawyers and laws at the center of the field”, “Monetization of Intellectual Property – Transforming ideas into capital”,“ Artificial Intelligence – What’s Next?”

Dr. Oscar Mago, founding partner of OMC Abogados & Consultores, was part of this three-day international event, which gave participants the opportunity to update their knowledge, start professional relationships with colleagues and enjoy the Brazilian culture through the presentation of some artistic manifestations.
