Workers with Perfect Suspension will receive an economic subsidy

According to the publication of the Decree of Urgency No. 072-2020 on the country’s official newspaper El Peruano, the Executive Branch has ordered the delivery of a monthly bonus of S/. 760.00, for a maximum period of three months, to all the workers on a leave without pay, and who’s work center is not included in the microenterprise regimen.

Since this is an extraordinary measurement, Essalud will be the institution in charge of providing the service; the payment will be made to a bank or electronic money account authorized by the worker himself.

One of the conditions to make the charge of the bonus effective is that the workers must effectively be under the perfect suspension (no unresolved cases), in addition to working in a company that has a maximum of 100 workers and receiving a salary of up to S/. 2,400.00. However, workers whose homes have already received some kind of subsidy from the State are disqualified from receiving this economic support.
