The situation of Intellectual Property in times of Covid-19

One of the preventive measurements most applied by the governments on a world scale against Covid-19 has been the social confinement, as well as the consequent absence in workplaces, producing a partial paralization in many sectors who's operating is important for their economies.

Due to this scenario, the national Intellectual Property offices, including Peru, have decided to continue offering their services through on online platform in order to keep attending trademark and patent applications, renewals, and copyright applications.

Administrative deadlines will be subject to each countries' authorities, as well as, the starting dates for those processes that have been applied for during the sanitary crisis.
