La ciudad de Lima fue la sede del «Encuentro Internacional sobre Innovación y Patentes»

In order to create a space for dialogue between national and international specialists on innovations & patents; academics, businessmen and government officials, the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competence(Germany) together with ESAN University (Peru) co-organized the "INTERNATIONAL MEETING ON INNOVATION AND PATENTS"
The event was held on April 17th and 18th in the auditorium of the business school. It is noteworthy the participation of exhibitors as Mr. Reto Hilty and Mr. Matthias Lamping, director and researcher at the Max Planck Institute respectively. The talk was focused on sharing the experience that the developed countries are facing during the process of consolidating their intellectual property systems and, as a result, that this will allow them to have a favorable environment for innovation.
It was also discussed the scope and use of legal and economic tools of the international patent system in order to have a better use by companies and countries for the purpose of promoting innovation, competitiveness and development.
Miss Roxana Peralta, Lawyer of IP Department, took part of the meeting days on behalf of the Law firm OMC Abogados & Consultores.
