SUNAT uses technology in favor of Taxpayers

The National Superintendence of Tax Administration: SUNAT expects increasing the number of formal taxpayers and achieving a reduction in tax evasion, with a strategy based on communication and technology.
Using electronic invoices by 150,000 taxpayers has been a key factor for the success and acceptance of the campaign started in June, consisting of sending informative alarms about non-deductible expenses, in this way it seeks to prevent the appearance of future contingencies.
In addition, starting from August, taxpayers must contract the services of an Electronic Services Operator: OSE (according to the acronym in Spanish), which will be responsible for the issuance of payment vouchers, according to Legislative Decree No. 1314, since the SUNAT will no longer validate the electronic vouchers.
To date 6 companies are authorized to provide the service in Peru and whose mission is to help massively, speeding up and decentralizing electronic billing processes.
