ProInversion will award USD 2,800 million in investment projects

The Private Investment Promotion Agency (Proinversión) has scheduled to award, until July 2021, 14 investment projects for a total of USD 2,800 million.

These Public-Private Partnership projects are distributed in the categories of productive infrastructure, traditional, transportation, energy, mining and the recently created social infrastructure which includes sectors such as water, sanitation, education and health.

The most outstanding initiatives within ProInversion's portfolio are the Huancayo-Huancavelica Railroad project (US$232 million investment), the natural gas massification project for seven regions in the center and south of the country and the headwater works that will increase and ensure water supply to the entire city of Lima, in addition to five electric transmission works and substations, two wastewater treatment plants, sewage networks and mineral-hydraulic development.
