Peruvian law firm OMC Abogados achieves high rankings in trademark registrations

The consultant Punto IP published in late June, a ranking about the number of applications for trademark registration by Peruvian firms specialized in intellectual property. The classification showed as a result the placement of OMC Abogados & Consultores in 3rd place with a total of 156 trademarks.

Although this official information is based on published trademarks to the date in which the sample is requested, it allows to provide an average of trademark applications by firms, agents and people dedicated to the field of intellectual property.

Currently the number of trademark applications has increased, the greatest demand is in the fields of mass consumption items, food, technology, health and personal care.
