OMC Abogados & Consultores welcomes new associates in Mining and Corporate Law

The staff of OMC Abogados & Consultores welcomes new incorporations to its legal staff: Miss Azucena Nizama and Mr. José Garaycochea.

Public Tendering, Administrative law as well as Mining and Environmental law procedures are the areas entrusted to Miss Nizama, who after get her degree as a lawyer have gained experience in both public and private sectors.

The experience gained in the Regional Government administration drawing up draft contracts and resolutions and legal technical reports for reclaiming State owned lands allows her to offer a comprehensive view in civil and criminal matters.

In the case of Mr. Garaycochea, graduate from the Law School of the San Pablo’s Catholic University in Arequipa; his professional career is developing in the private sector. He will be in charge of offering legal counseling in Corporate law, Labor law, Competition law, Consumer’s rights and bankruptcy.

His knowledge and the experience gained in bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring and organizing business companies gave him the know-how to be part of the legal team in charge of reorganize; alongside the Indecopi; a well-known first division Peruvian soccer team.

To add up, he also has experience in Tax law and Arbitration procedures.
