New specialist in Intellectual Property joins the firm of OMC Abogados & Consultores

OMC Abogados & Consultores is pleased to announce and give a warm welcome to Ms. Fernanda Zevallos, who is incorporating the staff of professionals in the Department of Intellectual Property, which doesn’t restrict her from counseling in matters of administrative law, contracts, societary law, civil procedure, international negotiation, and public international law.

Ms. Zevallos is a lawyer licensed from the University of Lima; her undergraduate thesis is titled Non-Traditional, Non-Visible Marks: Analysis of the legal regulations in Peru. She has solid knowledge in the area of Intellectual Property, mainly in matters of trademarks, patents, copyright, and consumer protection. In 2017, she assisted the Summer School organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization - WIPO in Santiago, Chile.

In the working aspect, she has worked as a legal assistant in a private company whose core business is to provide technological services (in the field of telecommunications) to prisons. She has provided her services in the sub-regional organization, the General Secretariat of the Andean Community - SGCAN. She has also worked in companies in the financial and pharmaceutical sector.
