Law firm OMC Abogados & Consultores was invited to talk about LEED ® certification

Last Tuesday, July 1st, the British Peruvian trade chamber presented the conference: "The benefits of LEED ® certification in Peru: a system for sustainable building."

The terrace of the Hotel Belmond Miraflores Park was the scenario where the Mexican architect Alicia Silva explained what LEED certification is about, the benefits it provides to businesses and how improves the perception of it, seeing reflected in the results of marketing.

Leadership in Energy & Envirmomental Desing is the name for this system that propels the construction or remodeling under these parameters; it has been found that these buildings generate between 30 to 50% of energy savings in the whole operation to increase productivity and achieve a positive impact on the image of the company.

As proof of acceptance to such a cordial invitation, two members of the law firm OMC Abogados & Consultores attended the talk, which will form part of a cycle of activities called Green Drink.
