Authorities regulate the Remote Work modality

Through the publication of an informative guide approved by Ministerial Resolution No. 072-2020-TR, the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) has established some rules for the execution of remote work for as long as the period of quarantine decreed by the authorities due to the Coronavirus epidemic.

One of the conditions for the company to continue offering its services under this modality is, if the nature of the work demands it, the other requirement that the employer must fulfill is that he must include in this modality all the personnel that are part of the “risk group” either because of age or a clinical condition.

Due to the supervisory nature of the established guidelines, all those tasks, obviously related to the business, and that are carried out during the hours that were agreed with the employer prior to this situation, will be recognized as a working day.
