Accelerated Patent Examination Procedure (PPH) has resulted without effect in Uruguay

We make it of public knowledge that as of October 3th of the present year, the PPH system will cease to be valid in Uruguay since the three years period established by the authorities has passed.

Due to the low probabilities of the term of validity being extended, we inform you that for this last stage, the only applications beneficiated will be those who have a favorable exam regarding an equivalent patent in the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Colombia.
