OMC Abogados & Consultores attended the Congress on copyright

The Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru organized the "International Congress on Copyright and New Technologies" on the last February 19th and 20th.

The conference had as its main topic the current regulations that are being applied in the field of copyright, mainly in the European Community (EC) and Canada.

«Retos del Derecho de Autor ante las nuevas tecnologías: corriendo detrás de la evolución», «Impresión 3D y Derechos de Autor» y «La colisión entre la protección del Derecho de Autor y las normas de protección de los datos personales en redes p2p: Acciones civiles frente a los usuarios de redes p2p y sus obstáculos prácticos en los ordenamientos europeos» fueron algunos de los temas que concitaron mayor interés.

In order to stay updated on international legislation on copyright, the firm OMC Abogados & Consultores was part of this international event, being represented by some members of the Intellectual Property area.
