Corporate law partner from OMC Abogados & Consultores attended OVUM 2024 congress in Uruguay

Mr. Luis Maura, partner and attorney in the Corporate Law Department of the Peruvian firm OMC Abogados & Consultores, traveled to Punta del Este, Uruguay, to participate in the XXVIII Latin American Poultry Congress OVUM 2024. The event, held from November 12 to 15, was also attended by Mr. Luis Lacalle Pou, President of Uruguay, with whom Mr. Maura had a brief conversation.  

The significance of the OVUM Congress in the region is evident, with 3,500 attendees and 200 exhibiting companies. Participants not only engaged in networking but also exchanged insights about their products or services and their respective benefits. The congress served as an ideal opportunity to establish partnerships to expand businesses across Latin America, whether through commercial representation, franchising, or legal advisory services for obtaining sanitary registrations or other permits required to comply with regulations in the chosen market.

In recent years, the poultry industry has experienced notable growth in product consumption, which has led to increased business opportunities for companies involved in breeding, improving, and commercializing poultry for human consumption.
