Administrative Sanction Proceedings (PAS) Opened Against Medicine Tender Winners

The National Directorate of Investigation and Promotion of Free Competition of Indecopi (DLC) has opened an Administrative Sanction Procedure (PAS) against 15 companies and 5 individuals who won a total of 23 tenders for the procurement of medicines during the period from December 2006 to February 2020. These tenders were mainly for cancer treatments, as well as drugs to fight infections and other diseases.

It is important to note that such proceedings are initiated when there are indications of anti-competitive practices.
