Private sector payrolls will receive subsidy from the Peruvian State

With the recovery of formal employment as the main objective, the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) ordered through the publication of Supreme Decree No. 004-2021-TR, the granting of a monthly subsidy for the payrolls of the workers in the private sector, which will cover between 35% to 55% of their gross salaries.

In addition of not having a collective termination of employment contracts pending before the competent authority, the employer must comply with other requirements such as an increase in the number of workers, including those whose gross remuneration reaches s/. 2,400.00. Those companies with more than one hundred workers (with a gross salary greater than s / 2,400.00) and whose total sum of gross wages are less than 80% of those received in October 2020 will also be eligible.
